Acute Hospital Speech Therapist - PER DIEM

About the Role

Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for patients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create treatment plans for speech-language therapy.
• Provide speech-language therapy to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a caring environment that emphasizes innovation, technology, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current or provisional licensure in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Certification from the American Speech-Hearing Association within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.

Experience

Preferred one year of experience, including caring for patients of all ages.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.

• Eligible for licensure and certifications necessary for independent patient care.
