Responsibilities

  • Leverage your advanced clinical skills to deliver life-sustaining dialysis treatments, creating extraordinary moments of comfort and safety at the bedside.
  • Independently manage your caseload and patient needs, using your critical thinking to troubleshoot equipment and navigate complex clinical scenarios.
  • Build trust with patients, families, and hospital staff through professionalism and empathetic communication, helping us deliver on our promise of compassionate care.

Schedule

  • Shift & Schedule: Full-time, four days per week.
  • Hours: Day shift, starting between 7-8 AM. End times vary based on the daily patient census.
  • Weekends: A consistent rotation of every other Saturday is required.
  • Holidays: A shared holiday rotation is required.
  • On-Call Rotation:
    • Weekday Coverage: Monday through Friday, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
    • Weekend Coverage: A continuous block from 7 PM Saturday to 7 AM Monday.

Locations & Team

  • Locations & Travel: You will provide care at our partner hospitals in the Flint area, including McLaren Flint Hospital, Hurley Medical Center, and Select Specialty Hospital - Flint.
  • Team & Support: You will report directly to the Team Supervisor, who is committed to your success.

Requirements

  • An active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
  • A minimum of one year of RN experience, with at least six months in nephrology preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • A self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
