About the Role
The Acute Dialysis Nurse is an experienced professional responsible for delivering direct care to hospital patients requiring dialysis. They make independent clinical decisions, supervise and support the Acute Patient Care Technician, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized dialysis care within the hospital setting
- Lead, assist, and serve as the primary resource for the Acute PCT
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and personalized care
- Promote a positive environment for patients and staff
- Support patients in living better lives through holistic care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
- One year of dialysis experience preferred
- Current RN license and CPR certification
- Nephrology Certification within one year of eligibility
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
