Location: Greeley, Colorado – Banner North Colorado Medical Center

About the role

This position performs prescribed radiologic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring optimal care and treatment to the patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders, using independent judgment and learned methodologies.
  • Educates patients and families regarding procedures and treatments.
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Produces high-quality images and prepares/presents them with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
  • Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements; troubleshoots and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance.
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors, adhering to safety policies.
  • Ensures ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice, including confidentiality.
  • Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services.
  • Performs prescribed invasive/interventional procedures, if applicable, in accordance with established policies.

Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)).
  • State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV (includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire; not required in Colorado).
  • Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Two years of clinical experience typically required.
  • Effective communication skills, human relations skills, and ability to analyze data and solve problems.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $33.69 - $56.15 per hour. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity.

Schedule

Varied days from Sunday through Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
