Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and other department-specific clinical interventions.
- Operate and monitor clinical equipment appropriate to the assigned department.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire or as required.
- Previous acute care hospital nursing experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
