Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care
- Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Promote patient safety and quality care
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and post-treatment needs
- Participate in professional development
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, case managers, social workers, and therapists to deliver comprehensive care in a 25-bed Acute Care Medicine unit
- Emphasis on caring for diverse patient conditions, including blood dyscrasias, endocrine issues, and organ failures, supported by advanced training and a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
- RN license
- No prior experience required (less than 2 years preferred)
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment
