Acute Care Registered Nurse - Days

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality acute care nursing for patients with complex medical conditions, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care according to standards and patient needs.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document care plans, communicate effectively across care teams, and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness to ensure safety at all times.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN licensure required; no prior experience necessary, less than 2 years preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
