Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Qualifications
- Board-certified nurse practitioner.
- Hospitalist experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Round, admit, and discharge from the observation unit or round and discharge from the Med/Surg floors as a day hospitalist APP.
- Perform admissions and cross coverage alongside 2 nocturnist physicians as a nocturnist APP.
- Round, admit, and occasionally discharge from the observation unit as a nocturnist APP.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and handle an ever-changing environment.
- Participate in the rapid response team and manage codes alongside the intensivist team.
- Attend weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions.
- Work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to internal informatics platform.

Rewards and Benefits
- Hospitalist shift compensation $140,000 to $150,000 yearly, dependent on experience, plus incentives.
- Nocturnist shift compensation $150,000 to $165,000 yearly, plus incentives. $25,000 commencement bonus offered for our nocturnist position.
