Compensation & Benefits

About The Hospital

250-Bed Non-Profit Community Hospital
20-Bed Critical Care ICU
Average Census: 10-12 Patients
Collaborative and Supportive Critical Care Team
Located in suburban Massachusetts
Less than one hour from Boston

What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
  • Participate in daily SICU/CCU multidisciplinary rounds
  • Manage critically ill patients throughout their ICU stay
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Write medication and treatment orders
  • Perform invasive bedside procedures
  • Manage ventilator settings and oxygen therapy
  • Administer IV fluids, blood products, and pharmacologic therapies
  • Maintain patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Respond to rapid response and code situations
  • Participate in resuscitations and emergency interventions
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Massachusetts License (or ability to obtain)
  • Critical Care or ICU experience preferred
  • Strong procedural skills required
  • Required Procedural Experience:
  • Arterial Lines (A-Lines)
  • Central Venous Catheters
  • PICC Line Placement
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Intubations
  • Chest Tube Placement
  • Thoracentesis
  • Additional Critical Care Procedures
