Acute Care Nurse - Full-Time Days

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, coordinating communication across care teams and with patients and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and provide compassionate, comprehensive care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license required.
• Experience: No experience necessary; preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience.
• Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
