About the Role

The Acute Care Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, performing procedures, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Collaborating with the care team, they advocate for patients to ensure positive clinical outcomes and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments during admission and shifts, document care accurately, respond promptly to patient needs, and follow medical orders.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatments, and medications, translating complex information into understandable terms.
• Assess patient status, perform ordered procedures, monitor responses, and administer medications.
• Provide education to promote recovery and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license.
• Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication, compassionate care, and teamwork skills.
