Role Overview

The Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing evidence-based care plans focused on patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care within assigned clinical areas, coordinating resources for timely and appropriate services.
• Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders, review patient medication profiles for safety and interactions.
• Assess prescribing patterns, suggest formulary alternatives, and advise healthcare professionals on drug therapy issues.
• Monitor lab results, provide drug information, and conduct discharge medication consultations.
• Participate in patient rounds, calculate drug dosages, verify orders, and prepare compounded medications using sterile techniques.
• Report supply needs, supervise pharmacy staff, and collaborate with medical teams to resolve pharmacy-related issues.
• Assist with departmental policy reviews and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required), Master's preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, excellent communication, and supervisory skills are essential.
