Clinical Pharmacist
About the role
The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. They provide safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs. The Clinical Pharmacist assists in supervising the functional activities of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, participates in department directed medication management activities, and demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness during daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs.
- Assists in supervising the functional activities of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
- Participates in department directed medication management activities consistent with Beaumont Health goals and objectives.
- Demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness during daily activities, maintaining a working knowledge of current pharmaceutical practice, and demonstrating a personal commitment to professional growth.
- Supports management by providing oversight, guidance and support for all assigned areas and participating in the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of new programs and activities.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- 1 year of relevant experience in pharmacy

- LIC-Pharmacist Controlled Substance - STATE_MI State of Michigan
