Job Summary
As our Acuity Adaptable ICU Nurse, you will help patients with varying acuity levels by providing exceptional care, monitoring their condition, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support to achieve optimal outcomes. Every day you will work in various units, such as ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg, providing exceptional care to patients with varying acuity levels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Monitor and manage patients
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Assist with managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff
- Assume responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader
Requirements
- Required: Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- One (1) year acute care RN experience
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
- Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- One (1) year of ICU RN experience
- American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support certificate
Pay
$35.00 - $58.63 /hour
