Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, accounting, or related field
- 10+ years of actuarial experience
- ASA or FSA designation required
- Expertise in Medicare Part C bid development, including owning models and translating outputs into strategic insights
- Working experience with Part D
- 4+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate an actuarial team while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners
Responsibilities
Award-winning health plan seeks a senior-level actuary to lead its Medicare Advantage team. Key responsibilities include:
- Own Part C bid development, supporting Part D
- Partner cross-functionally across the business
- Translate actuarial insights into strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies
- Lead and mentor an actuarial team
