Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, accounting, or related field
  • 10+ years of actuarial experience
  • ASA or FSA designation required
  • Expertise in Medicare Part C bid development, including owning models and translating outputs into strategic insights
  • Working experience with Part D
  • 4+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate an actuarial team while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

Award-winning health plan seeks a senior-level actuary to lead its Medicare Advantage team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Own Part C bid development, supporting Part D
  • Partner cross-functionally across the business
  • Translate actuarial insights into strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies
  • Lead and mentor an actuarial team
