Evaluation
- Evaluates performance and pricing of insurance and reinsurance programs and analyzes their financial impact in coordination with catastrophe risk modeling teams
Reserving
- Drives reserving process including initial expected loss ratios, loss development factors, and required Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserves
- Establishes reserve practices for quarterly performance updates and supports preparation of internal and statutory financial reports
Data Analytics
- Executes data analytics support for pricing, reserving, and modeling needs across risk and actuarial functions
- Buils complex specialty models with underwriting and claims teams to assess risk exposures and develop pricing strategies
Skills
- Works closely with the risk, underwriting, claims, finance, operations teams to assist with overall business strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Leadership Experience: 4+ years
- Preferred: Master's Degree
- Experience: 15+ years
