Main Responsibilities
- Completes and interprets actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using mathematics, statistical programming, and financial theory.
- Affords assistance with the completion of rate filing documents for all states.
- Conducts research on rate filings, as needed.
- Maintains and updates existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis.
- Prepares reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review.
- Produces ad hoc reporting, as necessary.
- Performs appropriate database work, as necessary.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience (one-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).
- Two+ Actuarial Exams must be passed.
- Two+ years’ relevant experience.
