Actuarial Analyst

Main Responsibilities

• Completes and interprets actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using mathematics, statistical programming, and financial theory.
• Affords assistance with the completion of rate filing documents for all states.
• Conducts research on rate filings, as needed.
• Maintains and updates existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis.
• Prepares reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review.
• Produces ad hoc reporting, as necessary.
• Performs appropriate database work, as necessary.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience (one-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).
• Two+ Actuarial Exams must be passed.
• Two+ years’ relevant experience.
