ActivKids: Before and After School Lead

About the role

ActivKids is seeking a Before & After School Lead for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The position offers a starting salary of $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, complimentary fitness center and Coral Cove Water Park membership, two Coyote Crossing Mini Golf Passes, recognition awards, and social activities.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with children
• Encouraging social growth
• Leading children in activities such as craft projects, organized games (indoor & outdoor)
• Setting up and cleaning up
• Opportunity for additional hours in ActivKids Days Off Club program

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Patience, caring, and enthusiasm are a must
• Ability to interact well with parents and children
• CPR Certification a plus

Requirements

• Staff 18+
• Must complete driver's abstract and train to drive park district vans/small bus
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Minimum age: 18
