About the role
The Activity / Group Therapist Opportunity at Fuller Hospital is a per diem position designed to provide expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities on inpatient psychiatric units.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals
- Facilitate 4-5 groups per day
- Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a creative arts therapy modality (art, music, dance), mental health counseling, or in a related field required
- Art Therapy or other expressive art certification preferred
- Evening and Weekend availability required
