Activity Security Representative (ASR) I

About the role

The Activity Security Representative (ASR) I position at GDIT ensures the safety and security of facilities and organizations. Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing classified documents, maintaining logs, escorting visitors, and supporting security awareness programs.

Responsibilities

• Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
• Maintain a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
• Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
• Perform destruction of classified materials.
• Reproduction support for classified materials.
• Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control.
• Aid in the processing of inbound and outbound visit notices.
• Conduct entry and exit inspections.
• Support the maintenance of facility access control entry systems.
• Follow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide support for the security awareness and education programs.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed.

Requirements

Required experience: 0-2 years of experience, with SAP experience desired. Equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than 3 years. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Skills

No specific certifications required. However, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) count towards 1 year of experience.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $83,950. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, but rather a range based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Travel required: 10-25%. Telecommuting options: Onsite work location in Albuquerque, NM, with potential for remote work.
