Responsibilities
- Planning and providing ongoing programs of activities for residents and patients in a short-term rehabilitation, sub-acute care, and LTC center.
- Encouraging physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being among residents and patients.
Qualifications
- Two (2+) years of social or recreational program experience within the last five years, one of which must have been full-time in a residential activities program in a health care setting.
- Completion of a state-approved Therapeutic or Recreational Activities training program.
- Must qualify as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is preferred.
