Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of recreational and social activities.
Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- A certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) or Certified Activity Director (CAD) is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, including at least one year in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with seniors.
