Activity Director

As the Activity Director, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging Activities program for our residents, providing opportunities for socialization, recreation, and personal growth. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate activities programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residentsCollaborate with other departments, such as Nursing, Therapy, and Dietary, to ensure resident-centered care and supportPlan and execute activities that promote physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual well-being, including arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and entertainment eventsRecruit and train volunteers to assist with activities and provide support to residentsAssess and document resident participation and satisfaction, making adjustments to the program as neededMaintain accurate records and reports of activities, including attendance, participation, and any issues or concernsEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures Requirements: Activity Director experience in a skilled nursing setting, with a strong understanding of the elder adult population is preferred but we will train the right energetic candidateAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with residents, families, and staffAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize resident needs and preferences What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work with a dedicated and compassionate team of healthcare professionalsSupportive work environment that values education, growth, and teamworkAutonomy and flexibility to design and implement activities that meet the unique needs of our residents Apply Today!
