Activity Director

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Activity Director to lead our facility's Life Enrichment program. In this role, you'll plan and implement engaging, meaningful activities that promote joy, community, and wellness for our residents. Your leadership will directly enhance the quality of life for those we serve — helping residents stay active, connected, and fulfilled every day.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
• Cookout, special events, and holiday celebrations
• Coordinate outings, special events, and holiday celebrations
• Encourage participation and track resident involvement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support each resident's care plan
• Maintain organized, well-stocked activity supplies
• Promote an inclusive, engaging environment where every resident feels valued
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and Residents' Rights regulations

Requirements

• Completion of a 36-hour Activity Director's course
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Activities Department within a Skilled Nursing Facility
