Activity Director

About the role

We are currently looking for an energetic, reliable, and fun individual to assist our residents with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct quality activities for residents ensuring that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual and social needs are met.
• Able to communicate professionally with residents, family members, health care workers and co-workers.
• Prepare and post monthly activity calendars.
• Must have the ability to accept and perform responsibilities as outlined above with a positive attitude.
• But most of all, ensure the residents are enjoying themselves and having fun!

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic, creative and has strong management skills.
• Must display leadership skills, creativity and have lots of patience.
