The Activity Assistant job responsibilities include planing, organizing, and implementing recreational and social events to enhance the well-being of residents with a goal of promoting regular socialization and physical activity. Key Responsibilities: Working under the direction of the Activity Director you will help organize, plan, and execute a well-balanced activity programOrganize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and gamesGenerate positivity and encourage resident participationWork with all departments to ensure resident needs are being metAssess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly Requirements Activity Assistant Qualifications A positive attitude and a willingness to learnPrevious experience working with the elderly preferredPrevious experience in an activity’s role preferred Summary What’s in it for you?
