As an Activities Assistant, you’ll help bring joy, connection, and purpose to each day by supporting engaging programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, and recreational needs. Be a light — to residents, families, and your fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs
• Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar
• Engage residents in group and individual activities
• Help meet residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs
• Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Genuine care and compassion for residents
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to engage residents with enthusiasm and creativity
• Excellent attendance and reliability
