About the role
Full time shifts available: 8am-4:30pm and 12pm-8pm, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Activity Director to help organize, plan, and execute a well-balanced activity program.
- Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games.
- Generate positivity and encourage resident participation.
- Work with all departments to ensure resident needs are being met.
- Assess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
- Previous experience in an activity role preferred.
