Activity Assistant

About the role

Kadima Health and Nursing at Palmyra is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team. Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, providing a loving and compassionate environment that attentively addresses their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors unit activities, content of programs, and independent activities.
• Implements individual and group activities; supervises residents’ use of all equipment and materials and takes necessary precautions in implementing the program.
• Oversees documentation of resident participation assessment, MDS, care plan, and progress on the appropriate forms.
• Works with activities staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agencies and volunteer groups.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
