Activities/Vitality Coordinator

About the Role

The Activities/Vitality Coordinator at The Wexford enhances the lives of our residents and staff by creating opportunities that enrich mind, body, and spirit. Responsible for meeting all Generations Vitality program standards. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Meet all Generations Vitality program standards.
• Communicate the Vitality philosophy and benefits of participation to staff and residents.
• Incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily interactions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in therapeutic recreation, health education, or activity professional program preferred.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral directions.
• Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Schedule

• Full-time, 35-40 hours per week.
• Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Occasional evenings and weekend shifts for events.
• 8 hours per day.
