Activities (Vitality) Coordinator

About the role

The Activities/Vitality Coordinator at The Wexford enhances the lives of our residents and staff through creating opportunities that enrich mind, body, and spirit. Responsible for meeting all Generations Vitality program standards. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Meet all Generations Vitality program standards.
• Communicate the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participation to staff and residents.
• Incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.

Requirements

• Associates degree in therapeutic recreation, health education or activity professional program preferred.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults.
• Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral direction.

Pay

• Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Full-time, working 35-40 hours a week.
• Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Occasional Saturday & Sunday shifts.
• 8 hours a day.
