Activities & Rehabilitation Support Specialist

About the role

Provide rehabilitation and recreation therapy services to adults with psychiatric disabilities in a residential mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach skills related to daily living, community integration, and coping strategies to enhance physical and emotional health.
• Collaborate with Social Workers to coordinate care and support.
• Facilitate group activities to promote social engagement and skill development.
• Support residents in acquiring new skills while ensuring protective oversight.

Requirements

• Experience in mental health or related fields preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disabilities and therapeutic techniques.
