Activities Personnel

Responsibilities

• Affirm participation in social and recreational programs
• Plan and implement activity programs
• Develop, organize, and execute the activity program
• Decorate facility for holidays and themed events
• Plan weekly and monthly calendars
• Assist residents with activities, individually and in groups
• Remind residents of activities and encourage participation
• Encourage residents to participate at their own level
• Enable residents to engage in activities enhancing or maintaining their quality of life
• Empower residents to develop and maintain their wellness
• Set up physical areas for planned activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity spaces
• Assist with indoor and outdoor plant care
• Lead group activities and one-on-one sessions
• Obtain and develop new ideas from various sources
• Record daily resident activity attendance

Requirements

• One year memory care or healthcare experience preferred
