Do you enjoy making a difference in people's lives? Join our Activities Department and make a difference in the lives of our residents by planning, organizing, and directing activities that promote social, spiritual, and psychological needs.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Coordinate and verify assistance for residents attending activities and events.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Create an ongoing calendar of activities that meet diverse needs and appeal to residents of various ages and abilities.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Degree and certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist; or Certified Activity Director by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals; or
• Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five (5) years, with one (1) year in a resident activities program in a health care setting; or
• Prior completion of a state-approved training course.
• One (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
