Activities Director

About the role

Mirabelle senior living provides award-winning care for seniors in Miami, Florida. The Engagement Director leads the community's assisted living and memory care activity programs, develops and implements programming tailored to various individual abilities and interests, and supervises other activity staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging activities for residents and assist with special community events
• Coordinate and plan activities
• Maintain and update the monthly calendar of activities and events
• Prepare the monthly newsletter

Requirements

• Passionate about working with active senior adults and those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
• Comfortable, creative, upbeat, positive, and happy in group settings
• One year of job-related experience in a senior living environment preferred
