About the role
Regency Laurel Hill is an intimate 34-bed community dedicated to providing excellent care and fostering a sense of belonging. The community mirrors the close-knit environment of Grants Pass, attracting a staff committed to enhancing the quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate an activity program
- Assess resident needs and create meaningful morning, afternoon, and evening programs
- Promote the monthly schedule of activities
- Maintain public relations and rapport with community groups to provide outside opportunities for residents (church services, concerts, school visits, etc.)
- Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
- Affords residents the opportunity to participate in resident council
- Train, orient, and manage volunteers
Requirements
- Currently manage budgets
- Work independently
- Relate positively and effectively with others
- Advocate for the senior population
- Two years of experience in social/recreational healthcare programs
- Possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
