Activities Coordinator - Part Time
About the role
As an Activities Coordinator at Inspire Neurocare, you will play a vital part in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of individuals recovering from or living with neurological conditions. You will create and lead meaningful activities that celebrate each resident's strengths, support their personal journey of recovery, and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and lead meaningful group and individual activities tailored to each resident's strengths, interests, and rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with Therapy, Care, and Nursing teams to ensure activities align with each resident's rehabilitation journey.
- Develop partnerships within the community and support residents in exploring new experiences and local activities.
- Inspire and encourage resident participation, celebrating achievements to build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment.
- Lead and inspire colleagues across all departments to foster a positive and creative living environment.
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
- Source meaningful resources and plan community-based experiences that reflect residents' interests and aspirations.
- Support residents in a way that respects their goals, preferences, and independence.
About the Service
Brook View Neurological Centre in Worcester specializes in supporting adults with complex neurological conditions and injuries to live with greater independence. Our interdisciplinary team includes neuro physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, neuropsychologists, nurses, and Rehab Assistants. We deliver personalized rehabilitation and care tailored to each individual’s goals, preferences, and needs.

Schedule
Part-time role, 17 hours per week.
