Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and creative Activities Coordinator to lead therapeutic and recreational programming for youth in treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead therapeutic, life-skills, and recreational activities for adolescent clients
- Encourage participation in group activities
- Supervise and ensure safety during all scheduled programming
- Reinforce treatment goals through structured engagement and positive interaction
- Collaborate with clinical and medical teams to support individualized treatment plans
- Accurately document attendance, behavior, and participation
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and demonstrate empathy without enabling
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years or older
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to stay calm, set boundaries, and respond compassionately under pressure
- Experience in behavioral or mental health settings (preferred)
Schedule
- Weekday Shifts: Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekend Shifts: Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and/or 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and/or 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $19–$20/hour
- Job Type: Part Time
