Activities Coordinator

About the Role

Join the team at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach as a Part-time Activities Coordinator and help families create lifelong memories through fun, engaging activities and events. From daily games and crafts to seasonal celebrations, you'll be at the heart of the resort experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional customer service throughout the resort.
• Coordinate and host fun daily activities, games, crafts, tournaments, and special events.
• Bring seasonal events to life, including Halloween celebrations, holiday festivities, and themed weekends.
• Assist guests with cabana rentals, including check-in, setup, orientation, and turnover.
• Oversee mini golf operations by assisting guests and ensuring the course is clean and ready for play.
• Assist with e-bike and scooter rentals, including safety instruction, equipment checks, and guest orientation.
• Communicate with the Front Office using two-way radios to coordinate reservations, assignments, and guest requests.
• Maintain accurate rental records and activity documentation.
• Inspect activity areas, rental equipment, and recreation spaces daily to ensure they are clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready.
• Reset cabanas, activity stations, and rental equipment between guest use.
• Keep recreation areas stocked, attractive, and welcoming throughout the day.
• Report maintenance, safety, or inventory concerns promptly.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Front Office teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Perform light cleaning and general upkeep of assigned activity areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special event weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, sunshine, and light rain.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Sun Outdoors.
