About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant/Smoking Aide to join our team at Aviata at Evans in Fort Myers, Florida. As an Activities Assistant/Smoking Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and recreational services to our residents. This is a part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activities profiles
• Plan and execute recreational activities, such as movies, parties, and games, to engage our residents
• Encourage resident participation in social activities and events
• Collaborate with the Community Life Director to expand services and develop new ideas
• Provide innovative and responsible healthcare solutions to continually improve systems and processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Some experience in providing recreation services to residents in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current, unencumbered valid state driver's license required
• Must be compassionate, dedicated, and qualified for the position

Schedule

Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM, and every other weekend.

Pay

Competitive pay rate: $16 hourly.
