Activities Assistant

About the role

The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
• Support residents' emotional and social needs.
• Work closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
• Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months’ related experience and/or training.
• Successfully completed a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
