About the role
As an Activities Aide, you will help create meaningful moments and enriching experiences for our residents through engaging activities and personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging individual and group activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
- Provide personalized in-room activities such as music, reading, and creative projects for bed-bound residents.
- Assist with the development of our monthly activity calendar.
- Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming activity spaces.
- Communicate important updates to supervisors and caregivers to ensure each resident feels supported and seen.
Requirements
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility is a strong plus.
- Prior experience as an activity aide or activity director is highly preferred.
- CPR certification is a bonus.
- A positive attitude, creativity, and a genuine desire to brighten residents’ days.
