Responsibilities

  • Attend and assist in planned activities and special events, decorating for major holidays.
  • Aid in marketing events, displaying flyers, calendars, newsletters, and updating social media websites.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities.
  • Drive the community vehicle when needed.
  • Make flyers, calendars, newsletters, and update social media websites.

  • Display a positive and professional image through actions and dress in accordance with MBK principles and core values.
  • Operate basic office equipment and perform clerical tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, with an AA degree preferred or at least two years of work experience in the industry.
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations.
  • Meet health requirements, including TB tests.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
  • Clerical knowledge, including making flyers, calendars, newsletters, and updating social media websites.
  • Reasoning skills, including the ability to understand issues and give and receive feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, and read English.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment and proficient with email and Microsoft Office.
  • Compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.
  • The ability to make independent decisions and remain calm during emergency situations.
  • Physical demands: Must be mobile, able to move intermittently throughout the work day, and throughout the community. Requires repetitive hand motion, moderate to physical effort to lift/carry up to 25 lbs., and ability to assist in the moving of residents in emergency situations.

  • Must comply with certain laws and regulations that affect the company, including but not limited to Resident Rights, HIPAA, State licensing regulations, and laws relating to professional licenses.
