The Activities and Lifestyle Engagement Assistant assists in conducting and developing the 24-hour lifestyle engagement program for residents. Implements activities ensuring each resident’s individual needs are met, maximizing resident strengths and abilities. Documents resident progress in accordance with all state, federal, and departmental guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and conducting the 24-hour lifestyle engagement program for residents.
- Implement activities tailored to meet individual resident needs and maximize their strengths and abilities.
- Document resident progress according to state, federal, and departmental guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay
Starting salary: $15.00–$16.95/hour depending on experience.
Schedule
Part-time, hourly, non-exempt. Primarily day shift Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend rotation.
