About the role

The Activities Aide at Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center plays a crucial role in delivering and leading life enrichment programs designed to enhance the well-being and health of residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead life enrichment programs every day
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs
• Evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs

Requirements

• 1+ year of related experience in long-term care preferred
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional, passionate, innovative care
• A team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of various therapeutic and recreational activities
