Activities Aide - Full Time

About the role

As an Activities Aide at Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center, you will deliver and lead life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy, serving the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors through kind words and encouragement, fostering a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport participants to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on their background, interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs to create meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

Requirements

• 1+ year of related experience in long-term care preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting colleagues and getting the job done.

Pay

Starting wage: $14.00 per hour plus Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour). Yearly wage increases.
