Activities Aide

About the role

The Activities Aide at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Center delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. The calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities designed to be both therapeutic and promote health and well-being. We are always looking for new fun ideas.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Aid and lead group and individual life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on their background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

Requirements

• One year of related experience in long-term care preferred.
• An associate’s degree in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team player with a dedication to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and some holidays.

Pay

$14.00 per hour starting wage with yearly increases.

Schedule

8-hour shifts, rotating weekends and some holidays.
