About the role

Lorien Bulle Rock is hiring an Activities Assistant to enhance the quality of life for their residents through creative and engaging programs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead recreational, social, and educational programs
  • Assist residents in safely participating in activities
  • Encourage socialization, engagement, and personal growth
  • Document resident participation and progress
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident needs

Requirements

  • A passion for creativity and people
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds
  • Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a caregiving or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of adult development and aging

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, Hour 1000 AM - 530 PM & 400 PM - 800 PM, every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday)
