Job Summary

Crest Haven Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Aid to enhance the quality of life for their residents through engaging activities and socialization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a variety of activities and programs tailored to the diverse interests and needs of residents
• Plan and execute daily schedules, including games, outings, and entertainment
• Encourage socialization and interaction among residents, staff, and families
• Coordinate and participate in special events, such as holiday celebrations and resident birthdays
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation
• Collaborate with other teams, including nursing, rehabilitation, and dietary, to ensure a holistic approach to care

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and withstand the physical demands of the job
