About the role

Cheer Home Care is hiring experienced in-home caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled in La Jolla, CA and North County San Diego. As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Responsibilities

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal preparation
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments
• Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, Parkinson's care, hospice care and more
• Hourly care
• Light housekeeping and organization

Requirements

• Assist with activities of daily living and dementia care
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support (up to 100‑150 lbs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to drive client in their vehicle (mileage reimbursement included)
• Smartphone with internet access
• Certifications preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED

Pay

Hourly rate: $23 to $27, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, car access, and more.

Schedule

Shifts available Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑8 pm. Flexible schedule: full‑time or part‑time based on your availability and travel preferences.
